The background of Logra in Mexico can be traced back more than half a century, when our founder began to manifest a deep interest in developing a unique and innovative multimodal system for bulk cargo that was arriving to the Mexican ports. To achieve this, he urged the entire logistic supply chain to be integrated efficiently.
In the 1980's the multimodal company with headquarters in Yucatan, mobilized cargo on the main ports of Mexico with its own Mexican-flagged ships and continually challenged difficulties and inefficiencies in the ports, since these had many shortcomings of services to the cargo.
To continuously achieve the development of his ambitious goal and integrate efficiencies to the bulk logistic supply, it was required to include the modernization of the port system in Mexico for the inclusion of private companies.
Years later with an exemplary process between Government, trade union and individuals, the first investment contract was achieved to Multisur. So far it has actively and continuously been working in other Mexican ports and abroad to develop Logra.
